The United States has the highest prevalence of obesity among developed nations. Furthermore, 17% of children and adolescents 2-19 years of age are overweight (CDC, 2006). To explore the issues surrounding overweight and obesity among children and adolescents, Pauline Williams, Clinical Nutrition Manager at Primary Children’s Medical Center in Salt Lake City, will present on strategies and solutions for weight management.
