Create a Patient

If the patient does not exist, create a new patient profile. 

Step 1:       After searching for a patient (see the Add Patient to Case section above), click Add New.  The Patient Add screen opens.

 

Any information entered in the Patient Search screen populates here. 

Step 2:       Enter and edit details as needed.  Please note that the more information entered now, the less time will have to be taken later on to edit patient information.  Required fields have a yellow asterisk next to them.

Step 3:       Once complete, click Add.  A confirmation screen opens.  Review entered information.  If it needs to be edited, click Back.  If it is correct, click Add.

User is now back at the Add to Case screen, but notice that the patient is identified in the upper-left corner of the screen.
